Your Body!

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to specific points on the feet and hands to influence the health of corresponding parts of the body. "Pressure sensors" on the hands and feet connect with different organs and parts of the body. By use of reflexology techniques to stimulate these sensors through body's energetic pathways, the practitioner improves blood and lymph flow to related muscles, organs, glands and parts of the body.

Health practitioners world wide agree that 75% of our health problems can be linked to nervous stress and depression, reflexology improves nerve and blood supply and helps nature to normalize our bodies and thus improving our general health.

What to expect during your appointment

The Reflexology session takes place in our studio and is performed by John Derwich, a certified Reflexologist who has been practicing in this field since 1996. The session is 60 minutes long. This treatment consists of a very specialized foot massage that focuses on stimulation of all reflex points found on the human feet. If client has a known persisting problem, John will focus more on the areas of weakness to deliver proper stimulation and blood flow to the problem area. The day after the massage you can expect to feel slightly fatigued. You should drink plenty of fluids and get adequate rest. For optimal results, it is advised to have a minimum of five (5) Reflexology treatments spaced one week apart.
